How to Achieve Goals – Short Term & Long Term
19 Jan
This is normally for other internet marketers – but these rules can help you achieve any goals in life; achievement is achievement, no matter what you are doing, right?
You probably have dreams, aspirations, and places you see yourself in the future; working to get their can be quite hard, so here are some ways to motivate yourself, achieve your goals more efficiently and ultimately find success in your journey.
- Create goals that can inspire your passion. Even if it’s ridiculous, keep your mind focused on it, and make it inspire you passion. These can be work production goals or profit goals – whatever it takes. Many people say, “write down realistic goals”; Well, I write down ridiculous goals, because if I aim for the moon & miss, I’m still headed for the stars, right? So I keep my ridiculous goal in my head every single day.
- Clearly write out your goals in elaborate detail. You want to write out your goals in elaborate detail, and even rewrite them every single day if that it re-motivates you. I personally do that, every time I write out my goals before I work, I seem to have this incredible passion because I’m reminded about everything I want to live to be.
- Learn What De-motivates You. What demotivates you when you work? Is it the distractions? Right under your goals, or even on a separate piece of paper – you should write down what gets in your way, and then write down a solution on how to get past this problem, right?
Setting your Goals
Now, you probably have a goal that will inspire and motivate you to work towards it. Now first, predict how long do you think this goal will take you to achieve?
This is going to be the “big picture” goal – you, want to focus on this when you are not working. Now break these goals into years, months , weekly, & daily.
- You want to have a yearly goals, if your goal takes one year, of course it isn’t necessary.
- Now monthly goals are awesome, and they are definitely critical to your business. You want to create a checklist of the tasks, work, or work-outs you expect of yourself for that month; you also want to make sure you achieve them.
- Weekly Goals can motivate you, you want to have the weekly tasks & weekly goals as well, these will definitely help you make your long-term goals help you. This is the pace that you must go every week, by having weekly goals, it can be a semi-long term, semi-short term and can help put things into perspective!
- Daily Goals are useful tools, you need to set daily goals and tasks, so that you won’t be discouraged by your hard to achieve big goal & ultimately succeed.
